Halo 4's review

Rating for Halo 4, owned by 343 industries.
My number rating: 8

My reasoning of the good scoring: The new trilogy and creators have potential, and the graphics were very good. The campaign was creative, and the ability to put an entire second storyline into the spartan ops aspect of the game was very interesting. The return of the Master Chief and the new turn of Cortana being a much more human like companion with human like attributes and problems. The build up of a more emotional view on Cortana was a big factor, and my hope is that the next two games will be good, and have just as good a campaign. Also prominent was the tie in of the novels in the Halo forerunner books.

The reasons it was scored lower: The problems I have found throughout include the fact that most of the content was based on the xbox live aspect of the game. Not everyone who wants to buy the game has live, and the multiplayer was not as advanced as Halo Reach's multiplayer. Another problem being the player design aspect. The ability to unlock new armor through credits was taken out. It was a very successful part of the Halo Reach Multiplayer, and it helps to bring players back. The  main reason this game was not successful was the plain simple competition with Call of Duty games. Not to say that Call of Duty was better, but that 343 felt alot of pressure to make their games more appealing to that group of gamers. All that succeeded in doing was pushing away fans of the already proven Halo franchise's gameplay.
